I offer a variety of portrait sessions including professional headshots, senior portraits, and more. Every session follows the same structure.
A flat session fee books your time for up to two hours. Digital files are sold separately on a per-image bases and there is no minimum purchase requirement. All images purchased are fully retouched and include a personal-use license.
You only pay for the images you want.

Session Info
Every session can include up to two hours of shooting time and is completed on the same day. During your session, we will take a wide range of images with different outfits, backgrounds, lighting, and compositions. This will give you a wide selection of images to choose from to best fit your needs, whether it’s senior portraits or personal branding.
Headshot Sessions
Headshot sessions are unique in that many of the photos are shot entirely from the chest up, but don’t worry, we can take time to get other portraits as well!
What makes my headshot sessions different from others in the Sioux Falls area?
Headshot-Specific Lighting – As a member of Peter Hurley’s Headshot Crew, I have learned lighting techniques from the leading headshot photographers in the world. I’m also working my way to becoming the only Headshot Crew Associate Photographer in South Dakota and within three hours of Sioux Falls.
Focus on Expressions – Since headshots are shot from the chest up, capturing genuine expressions becomes a crucial part of the process and the final images you purchase. That is also entirely on me and I don’t just tell you to “smile” at the camera. Instead, I’ll help coach you every step of the way to help bring out those expressions so you’re final images are both engaging and authentic.
Purchasing Images
During your shoot, we will review images as we go. Once we are done shooting, we will sit down and do a final review of the final photos. Here we will discard photos you don’t want or need while narrowing down the ones you do like. Once ready, you’ll select which images you want to purchase, which will then move on to retouching. Images are typically delivered within 1-2 weeks of purchase.
Note: Many portrait sessions, such as senior portraits and sessions done outside the studio, will have a separate ordering session instead of reviewing the images same day.
Purchased images are delivered in an online gallery and are available for one year.
Scheduling & Payments
Sessions are available by appointment only. Available times start as early as 4:30 M-F with broader availability on weekends and most holidays. I only take one session on any given day and a limited number of sessions per month.
Full payment for session fee is required when booking your session. I accept all major credit cards and scheduling is done through an online scheduling platform (link provided after initial inquiry and date request).

All studio sessions are completed at West Sioux Studios and is located at the following address:
1810 W. 50th St.
Sioux Falls, SD 57105
Please note that since this is a rental/shared studio, your session time begins promptly at your scheduled time. Any time missed due to arriving late will be forfeited.
